Striving for Equality
Thomas Jefferson authored the words, "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights". This simple, yet powerful phrase has never been more important than it is today. Every person is entitled to equal rights, not just those deemed worthy by their status, skin color, beliefs, or whom they love. If one person has the right to something, then every person is entitled to that same right. We are stronger together, and everyday it seems as though we are becoming more divided. We must come together as a united people, a thundering voice that will not be silenced. If elected, I will devote my time in office to these principals and stand up for those who are pushed aside, mistreated, and discriminated against.- Jessica Meadows

Jessica Meadows believes in equality for all regardless of skin color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or social class. Jessica will be a strong voice for Clay and Vigo Counties and an advocate for the LGBTQ community, individuals with disabilities, veterans, small business owners, improving our public schools, repairing our streets, and fighting for healthcare, creating jobs, and paying hardworking Hoosiers a livable wage. Time for Change
Jobs and Business
Jessica Meadows will push to bring better paying jobs to our community and improve the pay of our current jobs. Our community has faced lay offs, businesses leaving the area and leaving even more without employment and causing hardships on far too many of our friends, family, and neighbors. Jessica Meadows will fight to bring businesses and better paying jobs to Clay and Vigo Counties.
Education
Jessica Meadows is truly passionate about our public schools. Funding has been continuously reduced, teachers are underpaid, classrooms are being filled to capacity, we have seen schools be shut down and/or consolidated, when we should be making improvements and building on to our schools to meet the needs of the children. Jessica Meadows will fight to ensure our children receive the quality education they need in order to have a successful future.
Community
Jessica Meadows is proud to support and push for change throughout the community. For the past few years Terre Haute and Brazil have been listed as having some of the worst road conditions in the state. This is not a new issue, it has been a source of frustration for the members of our community for too long with nothing being done to correct the problem. It is up to Jessica Meadows for Indiana Senate to address this issue head on, and rally the support needed to make the proper change.
