Jessica Meadows: Indiana Senate Candidate

Born and raised in Terre Haute, Indiana. After graduating from high school Jessica joined the United States Army. She served for four years, quickly moved up in rank and became a Team Chief with her own crew, deployed to Baghdad, Iraq in 2003, and received commendations and awards for her actions during a firefight, where she ran into the line of fire to perform first aid on two wounded soldiers and ensured they were evacuated safely with her actions leading to the capture of an Al-Qaeda opperative. She received an honorable discharge at the end of her service. She returned to her home town and got a job as a Direct Support Professional, caring for individuals with mental and/or physical disabilities. She found helping others to be truly fulfilling and has worked in the field ever since. She has held various positions from the lowest level to being a Regional Director with clients all over the state of Indiana.

In my lifetime I have found that there is no greater calling than advocating, supporting, and fighting for others. As Senator I will devote the rest of my life advocating, supporting, and fighting for those I represent.-Jessica Meadows

Jessica and her husband Shane have been married since 2007 and have 3 children, Madeline, Emily, and Cecilia, as well as a step-daughter, Abby and 2 granddaughters.
